We are delighted to announce the arrival of Donato Ricci as General Manager of THE OAKS AT LAKESIDE. Donato joins us as an accomplished leader in fine dining hospitality; it is our good fortune to have him on board.
Donato was born and raised in Italy, where food and hospitality became embedded in him at a young age. After enrolling at Hospitality Management school, Donato received his Bachelor Degree in Food and Beverage Management. Now, 25 years later, he has built a career in the United States from entry level positions to leadership roles in challenging properties operated by leading restaurant groups. He is truly excited to call THE OAKS AT LAKESIDE his new home; please welcome him on your next visit.

Chef Neno brings his renowned culinary skills to us after 32 years as the principal force in building the reputation of West Hollywood’s acclaimed Dan Tana’s celebrity-favorite restaurant. His classic yet creative and approachable cuisine is sure to set a new standard for the San Fernando Valley dining scene.
The staff was s so nice and went all out to make a wonderful Halloween my 7 year old felt robbed without Trick or treating on her street this year. Well.. we got all dressed up and headed to the oaks at lakeside and were so happy to engage in a safe Halloween experience with yummy food and a wonderful atmosphere! My kid got a plate full of cupcakes and candy and Halloween was saved!!! So excited for outdoor seating and a beautiful view!!! The vegan enchiladas are incredible!!!! Thank you guys!
The place is beautiful we sat next to the lake and observed the lake and beautiful nature. Customer service is excellent!! The server gave us a recomendaron of the steak and it was great! juicy and tender, perfectly cooked. Dessert chocolate fudge brownie, it tasted good. Drinks, they didn't have champagne but was supplemented with chardonnay. Parking space is very limited it is mostly street parking.
We had a splendid afternoon over carafes of Sangria and a meal. I find myself saying linner a lot lately, because it is my new pandemic time of day to enjoy a meal out. Post brunch crowd and pre dinner crowd. The rebranding at the Oaks Lakeside is seamless. The setting, service, music, beverages and food, make for a lovely afternoon.
Everything was delicious. The service was excellent, and so was the live music. The patio is beautiful, and tables are well-spaced for comfortable and safe dining during COVID-19. Also, there are so many great options on the menu, including san dabs, a lobster roll, and even vegan enchiladas. Plus lots of appetizers that are perfect for sharing. If you like onion rings, theirs just may be the best!
The Oaks at Lakeside was the perfect spot to finally get together with our favorite friends for a covid safe outdoor dining experience. The setting is beautiful with gorgeous delicately lighted shade trees covering an expansive natural park floor. The live musician and the lively lakeside ducks and geese created a relaxing conversational atmosphere.
